Step by step with Arman Design and Development Group
Exploration and Prospecting of Mines
In 2023, considering the current economic conditions and the need for a stronger presence in industrial and mining sectors, a new unit named Exploratory Studies and Mining Extraction was established within Arman Design and Development Group.
The Mineral Exploration and Prospecting Unit of MandSazan Company is capable of performing all stages of mineral discovery—from initial prospecting to detailed exploration—and can provide geological maps at any scale based on field studies, trench sampling from ore deposits, and exploratory boreholes.
The importance of this unit’s activities is outlined as follows:
- Prospecting studies and preparation of thematic geological maps at various scales
- Preparation of various exploratory borehole logs, including lithological, mineralogical, structural, and more.
- Creation of 3D geological models of mineral deposits
- Mineral Resource Estimation
Geology Department:
- Integration of satellite imagery and generation of multispectral and hyperspectral datasets
- Identification of geological trends and their continuities, folds, rock outcrops, delineation of ore veins, and determination of strike and dip within a large study area
- Construction of integrated exploratory models and identification of target zones
Remote Sensing & GIS

- Modeling and determination of exploratory borehole locations based on geophysical data processing and analysis supported by geological information.
- Analysis of airborne geophysical data and identification of prospective areas
- Design of geophysical survey networks
- Acquisition and interpretation of geophysical data
Geophysics:
- Interpretation of results and identification of geochemical anomalies
- Collection and preparation of geochemical samples
- Production of element distribution maps
- Design of sampling networks
Geochemistry:
- Conducting structural surveys and creating 3D models of discontinuities, with geomechanical property estimation of rock masses based on field surveys and laboratory tests
- Stability analysis of mine walls and determination of safe final wall slopes
- Preparation of geotechnical logs from drilling cores
- Kinematic slope stability analysis
- Geotechnical zoning of the mine
